Who we are
As a co-lead of the Somos AUG, I enjoy creating a space where Hispanic and Latino Aurorans can come together to celebrate our rich cultures and make our voices more visible in the company. Sharing our stories helps us connect and build a strong sense of community. It’s inspiring to see how we uplift each other and embrace our diverse backgrounds, making our group a vibrant and supportive part of our experience at Aurora.
Our mission "Safely, quickly and broadly" puts safety at the forefront. With our AUGs like Fighting Bias in Tech Group, of which I am proud to be a part of, I am glad that we are thinking deeply and building software that is safe for not a homogeneous population but for everyone.
I believe that having a diverse workforce will help us develop and deliver a better product to market. I have learned and seen the commitment that our employees have in order to continue to make Aurora a great place to work.
My family is in India, so every year we celebrate Diwali with friends and neighbors. Aurora’s value —Celebrate Our Diversity — is a great excuse to share Diwali with my peers and grow my family away from home.
