What we are looking for

We’re searching for a Sr. Analyst, Investor Relations. Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations within our Finance organization, this role will provide critical analytical and operational support to our Investor Relations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to build a career in IR at a company defining a new industry.

In this role you will

  • Support the quarterly reporting process, including preparation of our shareholder letter, conference call script, investor presentation, and Q&A, as well as coordinating logistics.

  • Prepare executive briefing materials and assist with the coordination of investor marketing efforts including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, etc.

  • Maintain the internal financial consensus model, tracking sell-side analyst estimates and valuation metrics.

  • Analyze 13-F filings and develop a quarterly ownership report, illustrating the composition of our shareholder base, meaningful buying and selling activity, etc.

  • Monitor peer results, sell-side research, industry media coverage, and market research to stay abreast and keep our team informed of intelligence and trends.

  • Maintain IR databases, including contact management system and research library.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an IR, sell-side/buy-side, investment banking, and/or corporate finance role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both external and internal stakeholders.

  • Financial acumen including demonstrated understanding of financial statements and related disclosures.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential and other sensitive information appropriately.

  • Highly motivated self-starter; able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic business environment, while adhering to our corporate values.

  • High level of personal ownership and intellectual curiosity.

Desirable qualifications

  • Autonomous vehicle industry experience a plus but not required

For roles based in Mountain View, CA: The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $184,000 per year.

For roles based in Pittsburgh, PA, Livonia, MI, and Dallas, TX: The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $166,000 per year.

Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
