Meet Ashley McClain, an Aurora Truck Operations Instructor on our Vehicle Operations team in Dallas

During her 8+ years as a long-haul truck driver, Ashley experienced the many challenges that come with driving an 80,000-pound truck on long, tedious routes across the country. Now, at Aurora, she uses her expertise to train and test the Aurora Driver, ensuring our autonomous trucks learn how to be safe and courteous on the road. 

As an advocate for the trucking industry, Ashley is passionate about developing self-driving technology that truly benefits drivers and the industries that rely on them. She believes Aurora’s products will help alleviate issues resulting from the driver shortage in the U.S. and make trucking jobs safer and more desirable.
