Aurora Informational Report: Preparing for Driverless Operations

As our team advances toward driverless trucking operations, we continue to make strong progress in closing the few remaining claims in our safety case and we're excited that we will soon be able to deliver our world-changing product.

A core tenet of our safety approach is that our organization is trustworthy – showing the outside world that we are building self-driving technology the right way and for the right reasons. We transparently share our safety work with regulators, customers, and the general public, and strongly believe that an open, collaborative dialogue about safety benefits the entire transportation ecosystem.

As part of this commitment, we are sharing this Informational Report prior to commercially launching our autonomous trucking product. Our goal is to provide details on many of the final steps between now and the initiation of driverless operations on public roads. We look forward to continued engagement with those with whom our autonomous trucks share the road.
